URGENT - FIRE WEATHER MESSAGE

...DANGEROUS FIRE WEATHER MONDAY...

.Warm, dry, and windy weather will create critical fire weather
conditions across much of the Colorado eastern plains this
afternoon and evening. Conditions will be worst along and south
of Interstate 76 where the strongest winds, lower humidity, and
cured fuels will coincide. From Denver northward and in the
mountains, it will be windy but humidities will be higher or fuels
are not as susceptible to ignition.

...RED FLAG WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 8 PM MDT
THIS EVENING FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR THE PALMER
DIVIDE AND THE PLAINS SOUTHEAST OF INTERSTATE 76...

* Affected Area...Fire Weather Zones 241, 244, 245, 246, 247,
  248, 249, 250 and 251.

* Timing...Red Flag Warning, Noon to 8 PM today.

* Winds...Southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts 40 to 45 mph. Gusts in
  Lincoln County may reach 50 mph.

* Relative Humidity...As low as 7 percent.

* Impacts...Conditions will be favorable for rapid fire spread.
  Avoid outdoor burning and any activity that may produce a
  spark and start a wildfire.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
