AT 134 PM MDT...DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING A STRONG THUNDERSTORM
OVER THE NORTHWEST DENVER METRO AREA CENTERED OVER FEDERAL
HEIGHTS...OR 9 MILES NORTHWEST OF DENVER. THIS STORM WAS MOVING EAST
AT 10 MPH.

WINDS IN EXCESS OF 30 MPH AND HEAVY RAINFALL WILL OCCUR WITH THIS
STORM. RAINFALL AMOUNTS UP TO ONE HALF INCH IN UNDER 30 MINUTES MAY
OCCUR WITH THIS STORM.

NORTHERN DENVER...WESTERN AURORA...THORNTON...SOUTHEASTERN ARVADA...
WESTMINSTER...SOUTHERN BROOMFIELD...COMMERCE CITY...NORTHGLENN...
BRIGHTON...EASTERN WHEAT RIDGE...FEDERAL HEIGHTS AND SOUTHWESTERN
DENVER INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

PREPARE FOR SUDDEN GUSTY WINDS. SECURE LOOSE OBJECTS AND MOVE TO A
SAFE SHELTER INSIDE A BUILDING OR VEHICLE.

HEAVY RAINFALL OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM MAY LEAD TO MINOR STREET
AND GULLY FLOODING. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE THROUGH FLOODED
ROADWAYS.

FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING IS ALSO OCCURRING WITH THIS
STORM. LIGHTNING CAN STRIKE 15 MILES AWAY FROM A THUNDERSTORM. SEEK
A SAFE SHELTER INSIDE A BUILDING OR VEHICLE.
