MILES NORTHEAST OF ELBERT...OR 36 MILES NORTHEAST OF COLORADO
SPRINGS...MOVING EAST AT 15 MPH.

HALF INCH HAIL AND WINDS IN EXCESS OF 40 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH
THIS STORM.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
ELBERT AND KIOWA.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

PREPARE FOR SUDDEN STRONG AND GUSTY WINDS FROM THIS THUNDERSTORM.
SECURE LOOSE OBJECTS AND MOVE TO A SAFE SHELTER INSIDE A BUILDING OR
VEHICLE.

INTENSE RAINFALL IS OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM AND MAY LEAD TO MINOR
FLOODING OF ROADS...DRAINAGE DITCHES...FIELDS AND LOW LYING AREAS.
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE THROUGH FLOODED ROADWAYS.

FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING IS ALSO OCCURRING WITH THIS
STORM. LIGHTNING CAN STRIKE 15 MILES AWAY FROM A THUNDERSTORM. SEEK
A SAFE SHELTER INSIDE A BUILDING OR VEHICLE.

THIS STORM MAY INTENSIFY...SO BE CERTAIN TO MONITOR LOCAL RADIO AND
TV STATIONS...AS WELL AS LOCAL CABLE TV OUTLETS...FOR ADDITIONAL
