AT 248 PM MDT...DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING A STRONG THUNDERSTORM 4
MILES NORTH OF WESTPLAINS...OR 22 MILES SOUTHEAST OF KIMBALL...MOVING
EAST AT 20 MPH.

WINDS IN EXCESS OF 40 MPH AND HEAVY RAINFALL WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH
THIS STORM.

THIS STORM WILL REMAIN OVER MAINLY RURAL AREAS OF NORTHWESTERN LOGAN
COUNTY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

PREPARE FOR SUDDEN STRONG AND GUSTY WINDS. SECURE LOOSE OBJECTS AND
MOVE TO A SAFE SHELTER INSIDE A BUILDING OR VEHICLE.

BRIEF INTENSE RAINFALL MAY BE OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM...AND
COULD POSSIBLY LEAD TO MINOR GULLY AND DRY WASH FLOODING.

FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM.
LIGHTNING CAN STRIKE 15 MILES AWAY FROM A THUNDERSTORM. SEEK A SAFE
SHELTER INSIDE A BUILDING OR VEHICLE.
