URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...SNOW DECREASING IN THE MOUNTAINS...FRONT RANGE FOOTHILLS AND
WESTERN PORTIONS OF THE I-25 CORRIDOR...

.Snowfall intensity has decreased across the area. Snow showers
are expected to linger overnight and come to an end Friday.
Heavier snow is expected to linger through the evening in the
mountains and foothills of Boulder and Larimer counties.
Additional snowfall accumulations late tonight and Friday will be
on the light side south of Interstate 70.

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM MDT FRIDAY...

* TIMING...Snow showers will slowly decrease overnight and Friday
  morning. Additional snow showers may redevelop Friday afternoon.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...Additional snowfall of 3 to 7 inches is
  possible through Friday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Travel will be hazardous and slow at times due to snow
  and slush covered roads. Wet snow accumulating on leafed out
  trees may break tree limbs and cause power outages.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather
conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow
are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in an
emergency. If you must travel...keep an extra flashlight...
food...and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.

* TIMING...Snow, occasionally moderate to heavy at times this
  evening, will slowly decrease after midnight and Friday
  morning.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...Additional snowfall of 4 to 10 inches is
  possible through Friday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...Travel will be difficult if not impossible on high
  country roads due to the depth of snow. The wet, heavy snow
  accumulating on leafed out trees will likely result in numerous
  broken tree limbs and power outages.
