Hurricane Jose will bring high surf and dangerous rip currents to some ocean-exposed beaches through much of this week. There is the potential for significant erosion along ocean-exposed beaches during this week. Confidence is now high that the center of Jose will pass southeast of Nantucket sometime Wednesday. Even with this easterly track, there is a possibility of tropical storm force winds reaching portions of southeast Massachusetts, with the Cape and Nantucket most at risk.
