Scattered severe thunderstorms along with potential for localized flash flooding are possible across interior Massachusetts and portions of northern Connecticut this afternoon and evening. The main time of concern is between 2 and 10 pm with the greatest threat to the west of I-91. The primary risk with any severe thunderstorm will be damaging wind gusts with hail a secondary concern.
