A cold front approaching from the west will bring increasing chance of showers for Tuesday. The cold front will stall over the region to bring showers and thunderstorms for Tuesday night and Wednesday. Some of the showers will produce heavy rainfall. There will be a chance for some urban and small stream flooding for Tuesday night and Wednesday. Area main stem river levels are expected to hold nearly steady over the next 24 hours. River levels may seem some sharp rises beyond 24 hours. However main stem rivers are expected to remain within their banks.
