...A FEW STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS
SOUTHERN NH AND WESTERN/NORTH CENTRAL MA LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND
THIS EVENING...

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS HAVE DEVELOPED ACROSS NEW YORK
STATE AND PENNSYLVANIA AS OF MID AFTERNOON. THIS ACTIVITY IS
EXPECTED TO MOVE EAST INTO WESTERN/NORTH CENTRAL MA AND SOUTHWEST
NH THROUGH THE EVENING HOURS.

THE MAIN TIME FRAME FOR A FEW STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IS
BETWEEN 4 PM AND 10 PM. THE PRIMARY RISK IS FOR ISOLATED STRONG TO
DAMAGING STRAIGHT LINE WIND GUSTS WITH A SECONDARY CONCERN FOR
HAIL WITH THE STRONGEST STORMS. IN ADDITION...THE STORMS MAY ALSO
PRODUCE BRIEF HEAVY RAINFALL AND DANGEROUS CLOUD TO GROUND
LIGHTNING.

THOSE WITH OUTDOOR PLANS LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING SHOULD
BE PREPARED TO SEEK INDOOR SHELTER QUICKLY IF THREATENING WEATHER
APPROACHES.
