...Freezing temperatures have occurred across Essex County Vermont...

Low temperatures dropped into the upper 20s across Essex County
Vermont last night. This is considered a hard freeze.

The National Weather Service will no longer issue Freeze Warnings or
Frost Advisories for Essex County Vermont this year. Frost/Freeze
products will resume in the spring. People living in elevated
terrain or near lakes within these zones who have not had a freeze
may wish to monitor the latest forecast for freezing
temperatures.

Elsewhere across Vermont and Northern New York, the National
Weather Service will continue to issue Freeze Warnings and Frost
advisories until a hard freeze occurs...or until 2 weeks after
the date of the average first fall frost.
