...MIXED SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN ACROSS THE NORTHERN SAINT
LAWRENCE VALLEY AND WESTERN ADIRONDACKS THROUGH MID MORNING...

AREAS OF SLEET AND FREEZING RAIN WILL FALL ACROSS THE NORTHERN
SAINT LAWRENCE VALLEY AND OF NEW YORK THROUGH 900 AM. THIS WILL
CAUSE LOCALLY SLICK CONDITIONS, ESPECIALLY ON SECONDARY ROADS AND
UNTREATED SURFACES SUCH AS BRIDGES AND SIDEWALKS. THE MAIN THREAT
OF MIXED PRECIPITATION WILL OCCUR ALONG AND GENERALLY NORTH OF A
LINE FROM MALONE TO POTSDAM AND CANTON. BE PREPARED FOR AREAS OF
SLICK TRAVEL DURING THE MORNING COMMUTE AND ADJUST SPEEDS
ACCORDINGLY. PRECIPITATION WILL CHANGE TO ALL RAIN FROM MID
MORNING ONWARD AS TEMPERATURES CLIMB ABOVE FREEZING.
