...A LINE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE ACROSS NORTHERN NEW
YORK INTO WESTERN VERMONT THROUGH 730 AM THIS MORNING....

AT 530 AM EDT...A LINE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WAS LOCATED FROM
BRUSHTON TO CRANBERRY LAKE NEW YORK AND WAS MOVING EAST AT 45 MPH.
THIS LINE WILL MOVE INTO THE CHAMPLAIN VALLEY BETWEEN 7 AND 8 AM.

WIND GUSTS TO 30 MPH ARE POSSIBLE WITH THESE STORMS ALONG WITH
LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN AND OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING. WATER MAY POND ON
ROADS AND IN POOR DRAINAGE AREAS.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO...LAKE PLACID
CONSTABLE...CHATEAUGAY...TUPPER LAKE...SARANAC LAKE.

MOVE TO SHELTER WHEN THREATENING WEATHER APPROACHES! REMEMBER...IF
YOU CAN HEAR THUNDER...YOU CAN BE STRUCK BY LIGHTNING. STAY IN SAFE
SHELTER AT LEAST 30 MINUTES AFTER YOU HEAR THE LAST CLAP OF THUNDER.
