...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ARE LIKELY ACROSS CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN VERMONT
THIS AFTERNOON...

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL REDEVELOP ACROSS CENTRAL
AND SOUTHERN VERMONT BY EARLY THIS AFTERNOON. SOME OF THE STRONGER
STORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING DIME SIZE HAIL...ISOLATED WIND
GUSTS TO 50 MPH...AND LOCALIZED VERY HEAVY DOWN POURS. A COUPLE
STORMS COULD BECOME SEVERE...MAINLY ACROSS RUTLAND...WINDSOR...AND
ORANGE COUNTIES...BETWEEN 2 PM AND 6 PM TODAY. IN ADDITION...HEAVY
RAINFALL RATES COULD PRODUCE LOCALIZED POOR DRAINAGE AND LOW LYING
FLOODING.
