The chance for widespread hazardous weather is low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

A clipper will pass to the north of the region Friday evening. A
band of lake enhanced snow will intensify late Friday afternoon,
then move southeast across the area Friday evening. This band of
snow may bring moderate accumulations to the region, including a
burst of heavy snow.

snow that could accumulate 1 to 3 inches by daybreak.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of central New York.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

The chance for widespread hazardous weather is low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

A band of lake effect snow will strengthen across Oswego County
Thursday night through early Friday morning, and may produce
moderate accumulations.

Another area of lake enhanced snow will move into Oswego County
Friday night through Saturday morning as a clipper system passes
just north of Lake Ontario. This may bring additional moderate to
heavy accumulations, especially across the Tug Hill Plateau.

A clipper system will pass to the north of Lake Ontario Friday
night. An area of lake enhanced snow will develop Friday evening
over northern Jefferson County, and move south across the Tug Hill
region Friday night and Saturday morning. This may produce moderate
to heavy snow accumulations, especially across the Tug Hill Plateau.
