LAKE EFFECT SNOWS WILL WEAKEN LATER THIS AFTERNOON AS HIGH PRESSURE
PASSES BY TO THE SOUTH OF OUR NEW YORK. MUCH WARMER AIR WILL ARRIVE
OVER THE WEEKEND AND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK ALONG WITH MIXED WINTERY
PRECIPITATION CHANGING TO RAIN SHOWERS...POTENTIALLY BRINGING A
FLOOD RISK TO AREAS WHICH WERE BURIED BY LAKE EFFECT SNOW.
TEMPERATURES WILL THEN TURN COLDER AGAIN FOR THE SECOND HALF OF
NEXT WEEK.
