WEATHER SUMMARY FOR WESTERN AND NORTH CENTRAL NEW YORK
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE BUFFALO NY
332 PM EST WED DEC 24 2014

LOW PRESSURE OVER OHIO WILL RAPIDLY DEEPEN TONIGHT AND CHRISTMAS DAY
AS IT LIFTS ACROSS THE CENTRAL GREAT LAKES AND WESTERN QUEBEC. THIS
LOW WILL SWEEP ITS TRAILING COLD FRONT ACROSS THE REGION TONIGHT...
WHICH WILL BE ACCOMPANIED BY A BAND OF SHOWERS AND POSSIBLE
THUNDERSTORMS...SOME OF WHICH COULD PRODUCE GUSTY WINDS. IN THE
WAKE OF THE FRONT...A RETURN TO COLDER TEMPERATURES AND A PERIOD OF
STRONG WINDS IS EXPECTED OVERNIGHT AND CHRISTMAS DAY. WHILE THE
COLDER TEMPERATURES WILL ALLOW ANY LEFTOVER RAIN SHOWERS TO MIX WITH
SOME SNOW CHRISTMAS DAY...THERE WILL BE LITTLE TO NO ACCUMULATION.
