FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR CENTRAL SOUTH CAROLINA
AND EAST CENTRAL GEORGIA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COLUMBIA SC
301 PM EDT SAT SEP 20 2014

.DISCUSSION...DRY AIR IS BEING PULLED INTO THE AREA FROM THE NORTH
AS A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVES ALONG THE COAST. PRECIPITATION
CHANCES REMAIN LOW UNTIL A COLD FRONT PUSHES THROUGH THE REGION
SUNDAY NIGHT. THE FRONT IS NOT EXPECTED TO PRODUCE SIGNIFICANT
AMOUNTS OF PRECIPITATION BUT THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE OF ISOLATED
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. COOLER AND DRIER AIR WILL FOLLOW BEHIND
THE COLD FRONT FOR MONDAY. MIN RH VALUES WILL APPROACH 30 PERCENT
ON SUNDAY ALLOWING THE FORECAST AREA TO DRY OUT AHEAD OF THE COLD
FRONT. STRONG SURFACE WINDS WILL INHIBIT FOG FORMATION OVERNIGHT.
