FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR CENTRAL SOUTH CAROLINA
AND EAST CENTRAL GEORGIA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COLUMBIA SC
259 PM EST WED FEB 10 2016

.DISCUSSION...HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE MISSISSIPPI RIVER VALLEY
WILL SLOWLY PUSH EAST TOWARD THE MID-ATLANTIC THROUGH THURSDAY...
ALLOWING THE PRESSURE GRADIENT TO WEAKEN. LOW PRESSURE WILL
DEVELOP THURSDAY NIGHT AND MOVE EAST ALONG A STATIONARY BOUNDARY
POSITIONED SOUTH OF THE AREA...WHILE PRODUCING JUST CLOUDINESS.

WITH THE RELAXING PRESSURE GRADIENT...DISPERSION WILL BE FAIR
TONIGHT THROUGH EARLY THURSDAY MORNING...WITH NO FOG DUE TO THE
DRY AIR MASS. SURFACE WINDS THURSDAY WILL BE FROM THE WEST AT
5 TO 10 MPH...WITH TRANSPORT WINDS INCREASING TO 10 TO 15 MPH
BY AFTERNOON. THE RELATIVE HUMIDITIES WILL DROP TO AROUND
30 PERCENT IN THE AFTERNOON.
