DAILY RIVER AND LAKE SUMMARY
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE COLUMBIA SC
1032 AM EDT FRI MAY 22 2015

...All river forecast points expected to remain below flood stage...

High pressure and drier air is dominating the forecast area today...
bringing a break from the unsettled weather pattern the region has
experienced. This dry pattern will continue for the next 72 hours
until onshore flow off the Atlantic reestablishes. Deep Gulf of
Mexico moisture will remain well off to the north and west of the
region for the foreseeable future. Only minor fluctuations in river
levels are expected primarily from dam releases for hydroelectric
power generation. All rivers are expected to remain well below
flood stage.
