NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY. A PERIOD OF SNOW THURSDAY NIGHT MAY ACCUMULATE 1 TO 3 INCHES ACROSS PARTS OF FAR NORTHERN MAINE. THERE WILL ALSO BE THE CHANCE THAT THE SNOW MAY CHANGE TO A PERIOD OF FREEZING RAIN BEFORE THE STEADY PRECIPITATION ENDS FRIDAY MORNING. LOW PRESSURE IS EXPECTED TO MOVE FROM THE MID ATLANTIC REGION NORTHEASTWARD THROUGH THE GULF OF MAINE LATE FRIDAY NIGHT INTO SATURDAY. THIS SYSTEM HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BRING SIGNIFICANT PRECIPITATION TO THE REGION. THE EXACT TRACK OF THE LOW WILL DETERMINE THE TYPE AND AMOUNT OF PRECIPITATION THAT FALLS.
