...Localized Heavy Rain Threat Possible Monday Into Tuesday...

A humid airmass will move over the state this weekend which will make
it feel very uncomfortable, especially on Sunday.

On Monday a slow moving frontal boundary will begin to interact with
this tropical airmass over Western Maine. This will lead to showers
and thunderstorms developing across the Central Highlands and
Northern Maine. Heavy rain is expected to be the biggest threat at
this time, with the potential for very heavy rainfall rates.
If the same areas are hit by multiple storms, flash flooding could
be possible. The heavy rain threat area will slowly move east Monday
night into Tuesday. Details are still uncertain at this time but this
threat will have to be watched over the coming days.
