THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST CENTRAL MAINE...NORTH
CENTRAL MAINE...NORTHERN MAINE...SOUTHEAST MAINE AND WEST CENTRAL
MAINE.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

LOW PRESSURE WILL CROSS SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND MONDAY AND THEN
DOWNEAST MAINE MONDAY NIGHT. PRECIPITATION ASSOCIATED WITH THIS
SYSTEM WILL SPREAD ACROSS THE REGION FROM SOUTHWEST TO NORTHEAST
DURING THIS TIME FRAME. THE PRECIPITATION WILL START OUT AS SNOW,
BUT WILL TRANSITION OVER TO RAIN FROM SOUTH TO NORTH MONDAY
AFTERNOON AND EVENING. A BRIEF PERIOD OF FREEZING RAIN AND/OR
SLEET MAY OCCUR ALONG THE RAIN/SNOW TRANSITION ZONE. FAR NORTHWEST
MAINE WILL LIKELY REMAIN ALL SNOW FOR THIS EVENT, WHILE
WASHINGTON, HANCOCK, AND SOUTHERN PENOBSCOT COUNTIES WILL LIKELY
SEE MOSTLY RAIN.

SNOW TOTALS WILL DEPEND HEAVILY ON HOW MUCH MIXING OCCURS, BUT IT
IS EXPECTED THAT NORTHERN AND WESTERN MAINE WILL SEE 2 TO 4 INCHES
OF SNOW, WITH AREAS SOUTH OF HOULTON, MILLINOCKET, AND DOVER-
FOXCROFT WILL SEE AN INCH OR LESS. ANY ICE ACCUMULATION WILL BE
LESS THAN A TENTH OF AN INCH.
