DURING THE FIRST HALF OF MAY (MAY 1-15) THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE
AT BANGOR OF 54.6 DEGREES WAS 3.5 DEGREES ABOVE AVERAGE (1981-2010
AVERAGES). IT TIED WITH 2010 FOR THE WARMEST START TO MAY SINCE
2001.

ONLY 22 HUNDREDTHS OF AN INCH (0.22") OF RAIN HAS BEEN OBSERVED
AT BANGOR SO FAR THIS MONTH...WHICH IS 1.46 INCHES BELOW NORMAL.
