...FROST/FREEZE PROGRAM UPDATE...

THE FROST/FREEZE PROGRAM FOR SPRING 2015 IS CURRENTLY ACTIVE FOR
ALL OF DOWNEAST MAINE. THE PROGRAM WILL EXPAND TO CENTRAL AND
NORTHEAST MAINE TOMORROW, MAY 21ST.

A FROST ADVISORY WILL BE ISSUED IF TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO
DROP TO 32 TO 36 DEGREES...AND A FREEZE WARNING WILL BE ISSUED IF
TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED TO FALL BELOW FREEZING.

NORTHWEST MAINE...WHICH INCLUDES NORTHWEST AROOSTOOK...NORTHERN
SOMERSET...AND NORTHERN PISCATAQUIS COUNTY WILL BE ADDED TO THE
FROST/FREEZE PROGRAM ON JUNE 1ST THIS YEAR.
