...3 CONSECUTIVE RECORD WARM LOW TEMPERATURES AT CARIBOU...

THE LOW TEMPERATURE THIS MORNING AT CARIBOU WAS 69 DEGREES. IF
THIS HOLDS THROUGH MIDNIGHT IT WILL ESTABLISH YET ANOTHER RECORD
WARM LOW TEMPERATURE. THE RECORD FOR AUGUST 20TH IS 61F, SET IN
1971. THIS IS THE 3RD NIGHT IN A ROW WITH A RECORD WARM LOW
TEMPERATURE AT CARIBOU. THE LOW YESTERDAY MORNING OF 68 DEGREES
BROKE THE PREVIOUS RECORD OF 65 SET IN 1940. ON THE 18TH, THE LOW
OF 68 DEGREES BROKE THE PREVIOUS RECORD OF 67, SET IN 2009.

THE LOW OF 69 DEGREES THIS MORNING WOULD BE THE WARMEST LOW
TEMPERATURE OBSERVED SO LATE IN THE SEASON BEHIND ONLY AUGUST 22,
2009, WHEN THE LOW WAS ALSO 69 DEGREES. THE ALL-TIME WARMEST LOW
TEMPERATURE AT CARIBOU IS 71 DEGREES, WHICH WAS SET ON JULY 31,
1970.

ALSO, THERE HAVE ONLY BEEN 3 TIMES SINCE 1940 WITH 3 CONSECUTIVE
NIGHTS WITH A LOW TEMPERATURE OF 68 DEGREES OR WARMER AT CARIBOU.
THE ALL-TIME RECORD IS 4 NIGHTS WITH A LOW OF 68 DEGREES OR
WARMER WHICH WAS SET BACK IN JULY 1987.
