THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE AND THE NATIONAL OCEANIC AND
ATMOSPHERIC ADMINISTRATION HAVE DECLARED THE WEEK OF MARCH 28TH
THROUGH APRIL 1ST TSUNAMI PREPAREDNESS WEEK IN MAINE, AS WELL AS IN
THE REMAINDER OF THE COASTAL UNITED STATES.

TODAY`S TOPIC...OBTAINING MORE INFORMATION ON TSUNAMIS

BECAUSE OF THE 2004 TSUNAMI IN THE INDIAN OCEAN AND THE 2011 TSUNAMI
IN JAPAN, THERE IS A WEALTH OF INFORMATION ON TSUNAMIS AVAILABLE ON
THE INTERNET.  IN ADDITION, THERE ARE NUMEROUS VIDEOS THAT NOT ONLY
SHOW THE IMPACT OF LARGE TSUNAMI WAVES, BUT ALSO THE IMPACT OF MUCH
SMALLER WAVES.  BELOW IS A SAMPLING OF SOME GOOD SOURCES FOR
