TIDE LEVELS ARE EXPECTED TO PEAK AROUND 6.9 FEET MEAN LOWER LOW WATER IN THE CHARLESTON HARBOR AROUND HIGH TIDE THIS EVENING. WILL WILL LIKELY RESULT IN VERY MINOR SALT WATER FLOODING IN SOME OF THE NORMAL FLOOD PRONE AREAS OF THE CHARLESTON PENINSULA...INCLUDING DOWNTOWN CHARLESTON. SIGNIFICANT IMPACTS ARE NOT EXPECTED...HOWEVER RESIDENTS AND VISITORS WILL NOTICE SOME STANDING WATER...ESPECIALLY NEAR DRAINS AND DITCHES.
