1 AM EDT MONDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CHARLESTON HAS ISSUED A COASTAL
FLOOD ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 9 PM THIS EVENING TO
1 AM EDT MONDAY.

* LOCATIONS...LOW-LYING AREAS OF SOUTH COASTAL SOUTH CAROLINA THAT
  ARE ADJACENT TO THE ATLANTIC...TIDAL RIVERS...MARSHES...HARBORS
  AND THE INTRACOASTAL WATERWAY. THIS INCLUDES DOWNTOWN
  CHARLESTON.

* TIDE LEVELS...TIDES WILL REACH BETWEEN 7.3 AND 7.5 FEET MEAN
  LOWER LOW WATER IN THE CHARLESTON HARBOR AROUND HIGH TIDE THIS
  EVENING.

* IMPACTS...MODERATE COASTAL FLOODING IS EXPECTED. INUNDATION OF
  SALTWATER IN AND NEAR LOW-LYING COASTAL AREAS COULD LEAD TO SOME
  ROAD CLOSURES AND FLOODING OF PROPERTIES. SALT WATER FLOODING IS
  LIKELY IN THE NORMAL FLOOD PRONE AREAS OF DOWNTOWN CHARLESTON.

* TIMING...THE WORST FLOODING WILL OCCUR WITHIN AN HOUR EITHER
  SIDE OF HIGH TIDE. HIGH TIDE WILL OCCUR IN THE CHARLESTON HARBOR
  AROUND 1042 PM AND AROUND 1151 PM IN THE BEAUFORT RIVER AT
  BEAUFORT.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

BE PREPARED FOR THE POSSIBILITY OF ROAD CLOSURES AND MINOR
FLOODING OF PROPERTIES. IF TRAVEL IS NECESSARY...DO NOT ATTEMPT
TO DRIVE THROUGH WATER OF UNKNOWN DEPTH.

  THE INTRACOASTAL WATERWAY.

* TIDE LEVELS...TIDES WILL REACH BETWEEN 9.2 AND 9.4 FEET MEAN
  LOWER LOW WATER AT FORT PULASKI AROUND HIGH TIDE THIS EVENING.

* IMPACTS...SHALLOW COASTAL FLOODING IS EXPECTED. INUNDATION OF
  SALTWATER IN AND NEAR LOW-LYING COASTAL AREAS COULD LEAD TO SOME
  ROAD CLOSURES AND FLOODING OF PROPERTIES. WATER MAY APPROACH
  HIGHWAY 80 BETWEEN WILMINGTON ISLAND AND TYBEE ISLAND...BUT IS
  NOT EXPECTED TO FLOOD.

* TIMING...THE WORST FLOODING WILL OCCUR WITHIN AN HOUR EITHER
  SIDE OF HIGH TIDE. HIGH TIDE WILL OCCUR AT THE SAVANNAH RIVER
  ENTRANCE AROUND 1048 PM.
