ABNORMALLY DRY CONDITIONS PERSIST ACROSS PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST
GEORGIA CLOSE TO THE COAST INTO EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN SOUTH
CAROLINA. STREAMFLOWS ON AREA MAINSTEM RIVERS RANGE FROM NEAR
NORMAL TO MUCH ABOVE NORMAL. THE BEST CHANCE FOR SIGNIFICANT
RAINFALL OVER THE NEXT WEEK WILL BE ACROSS EASTERN PORTIONS OF
SOUTHEAST SOUTH CAROLINA...WITH RAINFALL AMOUNTS UP TO 2 INCHES
POSSIBLE. THE ONE MONTH PRECIPITATION OUTLOOK FROM THE CLIMATE
PREDICTION CENTER INDICATES A 50 TO 60 PERCENT CHANCE OF ABOVE
NORMAL PRECIPITATION FOR THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY AND THE 3 MONTH
PRECIPITATION OUTLOOK THROUGH APRIL INDICATES A 40 TO 50 PERCENT
CHANCE OF ABOVE NORMAL PRECIPITATION...GREATEST ALONG THE COAST.
THESE FACTORS RESULT IN A HIGH CHANCE OF RIVER FLOODING OVER THE
NEXT 3 MONTHS.

THE NEXT WINTER/SPRING FLOOD POTENTIAL OUTLOOK WILL BE ISSUED ON
18 FEBRUARY 2016.
