A SMALL AREA OF ABNORMALLY DRY CONDITIONS EXIST ALONG THE
SOUTHEAST GEORGIA COAST...WITH NO OTHER DROUGHT CLASSIFICATION
ANYWHERE ACROSS SOUTHEAST SOUTH CAROLINA AND SOUTHEAST GEORGIA.
STREAMFLOWS ON AREA MAINSTEM RIVERS CONTINUE AT ABOVE NORMAL TO
MUCH ABOVE NORMAL. MOST OF THE UPCOMING WEEK WILL BE DRY...UNTIL
THE NEXT SYSTEM MOVES ACROSS THE SOUTHEAST FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY.
RAIN AMOUNTS WITH THIS SYSTEM ARE EXPECTED TO BE AN INCH OR
LESS...MAINLY ALONG THE COAST. THE 1-MONTH PRECIPITATION OUTLOOK
FROM THE CLIMATE PREDICTION CENTER INDICATES A 40 PERCENT CHANCE
OF ABOVE NORMAL RAINFALL...AND THE 3-MONTH PRECIPITATION OUTLOOK
INDICATES A 50 PERCENT CHANCE OF ABOVE NORMAL RAINFALL. THIS ABOVE
NORMAL RAINFALL FORECAST COMBINED WITH ONGOING RIVER FLOODING
RESULTS IN A HIGH CHANCE FOR RIVER FLOODING OVER THE NEXT THREE
MONTHS.

THE NEXT WINTER/SPRING FLOOD POTENTIAL OUTLOOK WILL BE ISSUED ON
21 JANUARY 2016.
