WARM AND VERY HUMID AIR MOVING ACROSS THE SLIGHTLY COOLER WATERS OF THE ATLANTIC AND VARIOUS INLETS AND HARBORS...PLUS SOUTHERLY WINDS THAT WILL BE 12 KNOTS OR LESS...COULD LEAD TO THE FORMATION OF PATCHY SEA FOG AFTER 1 OR 2 AM. VISIBILITY IN THE FOG WILL BE DOWN AS LOW AS 1 OR 2 NM AT TIMES...BUT LOCALLY DENSE FOG WITH VISIBILITY 1/2 NM OR LESS IS POSSIBLE. SHOULD THE COVERAGE OF THE DENSE FOG BECOME WIDESPREAD ENOUGH A DENSE FOG ADVISORY WOULD BE REQUIRED. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... MARINERS ARE URGED TO NAVIGATE WITH EXTREME CARE. IF YOU MUST NAVIGATE IN THESE CONDITIONS...PROCEED WITH CAUTION. USE PROPER FOG SIGNALS...INCLUDING FOG HORNS. MAKE SURE ALL NAVIGATIONAL RUNNING LIGHTS ARE ON. PLEASE RELAY ANY REPORTS OF SEA FOG TO THE CHARLESTON OR TYBEE ISLAND COAST GUARD STATIONS AND ASK THEM TO IMMEDIATELY FORWARD YOUR REPORT TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CHARLESTON. && $$
