...PATCHY TO AREAS OF SEA FOG WILL OVERSPREAD THE WATERS THIS
MORNING AND CONTINUE INTO TONIGHT ACROSS THE NEARBY ATLANTIC
WATERS AND PERHAPS IN CHARLESTON HARBOR...

ALTHOUGH WIND SPEEDS MIGHT BE TOO STRONG FOR ANY WIDESPREAD DENSE
SEA FOG TO DEVELOP...GIVEN A FAVORABLE FLOW OF WARM AND HUMID AIR
ACROSS THE COOLER NEARBY WATERS OF THE ATLANTIC...AT LEAST PATCHY
TO AREAS OF SEA FOG WILL OCCUR THIS MORNING INTO TONIGHT. FOG WILL
OVERSPREAD THE GEORGIA WATERS OUT 15 NM EARLY THIS
MORNING...EXPANDING INTO THE SOUTH CAROLINA WATERS LATE THIS
MORNING AND THIS AFTERNOON. FOG MAY MOVE IN CHARLESTON HARBOR THIS
EVENING. VISIBILITY IN THE FOG WILL BE OCCASIONALLY LESS THAN 1
NM THROUGH TONIGHT.

IF WIND SPEEDS ARE LESS THAN NOW IN THE FORECAST THEN THE RISK
FOR A GREATER COVERAGE OF DENSE FOG WOULD OCCUR...AND A MARINE
DENSE FOG ADVISORY COULD STILL BE REQUIRED.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS ARE URGED TO NAVIGATE WITH EXTREME CARE. IF YOU MUST
NAVIGATE IN THESE CONDITIONS...PROCEED WITH CAUTION. USE PROPER
FOG SIGNALS...INCLUDING FOG HORNS. MAKE SURE ALL NAVIGATIONAL
RUNNING LIGHTS ARE ON.

PLEASE RELAY ANY REPORTS OF SEA FOG TO THE CHARLESTON OR TYBEE
ISLAND COAST GUARD STATIONS AND ASK THEM TO IMMEDIATELY FORWARD
YOUR REPORT TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CHARLESTON.
