...ISOLATED WATERSPOUTS POSSIBLE THIS MORNING...

AT 730 AM EDT...SATELLITE IMAGERY SHOWS A BAND OF TOWERING CUMULUS
CLOUDS OVER THE NEARSHORE COASTAL WATERS FROM THE MOUTH OF THE
CHARLESTON HARBOR TO NEAR OSSABAW ISLAND. DOPPLER RADAR ALSO
INDICATED THAT SHOWERS HAVE DEVELOPED WITHIN THIS LINE.

ISOLATED...BRIEF WATER SPOUTS COULD FORM ALONG THIS LINE OF
TOWERING CUMULUS AND SHOWERS THROUGH LATE MORNING. AS THE LAND
BREEZE WEAKENS AND A SEA BREEZE FORMS AROUND MIDDAY THE POTENTIAL
FOR WATERSPOUTS WILL DIMINISH.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

IF WATERSPOUTS OCCUR...MOVE YOUR BOAT AWAY FROM THE WATERSPOUT.
REMEMBER THAT WATERSPOUTS CAN DEVELOP RAPIDLY AND PRODUCE WINDS
AND SEAS THAT ARE DANGEROUS FOR VESSELS AND EVERYONE ONBOARD.

REPORT WATERSPOUTS TO THE COAST GUARD AND ASK THEM TO RELAY THE
REPORT TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CHARLESTON.
