GRAYS REEF NATIONAL MARINE SANCTUARY-

...AREAS OF FOG WILL IMPACT THE WATERS OFF THE COAST FROM EDISTO
BEACH TO SAPELO ISLAND THROUGH AT LEAST MID MORNING...

A LARGE AREA OF LOW CLOUDS AND FOG WILL CONTINUE TO IMPACT THE
WATERS FROM EDISTO BEACH TO SAPELO ISLAND AND EXTENDING 10 TO 15
NM OFFSHORE.

VISIBILITY IN THE FOG WILL BE LESS THAN 1 NM...ALTHOUGH PATCHY
DENSE FOG WILL REDUCE VISIBILITY TO 1/2 NM OR LESS AT TIMES.

IF THE COVERAGE OF THE DENSE FOG INCREASES A DENSE FOG ADVISORY
WOULD BECOME NECESSARY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS ARE URGED TO NAVIGATE WITH EXTREME CARE. IF YOU MUST
NAVIGATE IN THESE CONDITIONS...PROCEED WITH CAUTION. USE PROPER
FOG SIGNALS...INCLUDING FOG HORNS. MAKE SURE ALL NAVIGATIONAL
RUNNING LIGHTS ARE ON.

PLEASE RELAY ANY REPORTS OF SEA FOG TO THE CHARLESTON OR TYBEE
ISLAND COAST GUARD STATIONS AND ASK THEM TO IMMEDIATELY FORWARD
YOUR REPORT TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CHARLESTON.
