...WATERSPOUTS POSSIBLE ACROSS THE SOUTHERN SOUTH CAROLINA AND
SOUTHEAST GEORGIA WATERS THROUGH EARLY AFTERNOON...

SATELLITE IMAGES AND DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF TOWERING
CUMULUS CLOUDS AND SHOWERS FROM NEAR HUNTING ISLAND REEF TO
MOTHERLODE REEF...CONTINUING TO NEAR CAT BUOY. GIVEN FAVORABLE
CONDITIONS...THIS ACTIVITY HAS THE POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE ISOLATED
WATERSPOUTS THROUGH EARLY AFTERNOON.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

IF WATERSPOUTS OCCUR...MOVE YOUR BOAT AWAY FROM THE WATERSPOUT.
REMEMBER THAT WATERSPOUTS CAN DEVELOP RAPIDLY AND PRODUCE WINDS
AND SEAS THAT ARE DANGEROUS FOR VESSELS AND EVERYONE ONBOARD.

REPORT WATERSPOUTS TO THE COAST GUARD AND ASK THEM TO RELAY THE
REPORT TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CHARLESTON.
