PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

IF YOU ENCOUNTER A WATERSPOUT MOVE YOUR BOAT AS FAR AWAY AS POSSIBLE.
REMEMBER THAT WATERSPOUTS CAN DEVELOP RAPIDLY AND PRODUCE WINDS AND
SEAS THAT ARE DANGEROUS FOR VESSELS AND EVERYONE ONBOARD.

REPORT WATERSPOUTS TO THE COAST GUARD AND ASK THEM TO RELAY THE REPORT
TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CHARLESTON OR CALL THE NATIONAL
WEATHER SERVICE DIRECTLY AT 1-888-383-2024.
