SATELLITE IMAGERY INDICATES A LINE OF TOWERING CUMULUS CLOUDS IN
THE ATLANTIC COASTAL WATERS APPROXIMATELY 5 TO 10 NM OFF THE
LOWER SOUTH CAROLINA AND UPPER GEORGIA COASTS. CONDITIONS ARE
FAVORABLE FOR WATERSPOUTS TO FORM IN THIS AREA THROUGH LATE
MORNING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

IF WATERSPOUTS OCCUR...MOVE YOUR BOAT AWAY FROM THE WATERSPOUT.
REMEMBER THAT WATERSPOUTS CAN DEVELOP RAPIDLY AND PRODUCE WINDS
AND SEAS THAT ARE DANGEROUS FOR VESSELS AND EVERYONE ONBOARD.

REPORT WATERSPOUTS TO THE COAST GUARD AND ASK THEM TO RELAY THE
REPORT TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CHARLESTON.
