AT 1204 PM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A CLUSTER OF STRONG
THUNDERSTORM...CAPABLE OF PRODUCING WINDS UP TO 30 KNOTS...FREQUENT
CLOUD TO WATER LIGHTNING AND VERY HEAVY RAIN APPROACHING CHARLESTON
HARBOR AND ADJACENT NEAR SHORE WATERS. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE
LOCATED NEAR STONO INSHORE REEF...OR 13 NM WEST OF RATTLESNAKE
SHOAL...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 15 KNOTS.

MARINE LOCATIONS TO BE IMPACTED THROUGH 1245 PM EDT INCLUDE...
CAPERS ISLAND BUOY...RATTLESNAKE SHOAL...AIR FORCE REEF...CHARLESTON
NEARSHORE REEF AND CHARLESTON COASTAL ANGLERS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS CAN EXPECT GUSTY WINDS UP TO 30 KNOTS...LOCALLY HIGHER
WAVES AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING STRIKES. ISOLATED WATERSPOUTS ARE ALSO
POSSIBLE. BOATERS SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR IMMEDIATELY.
