...PATCHY SEA FOG WILL IMPACT PARTS OF THE NEAR SHORE GEORGIA AND
SOUTHERN SOUTH CAROLINA WATERS THIS EVENING...

Webcams and observations indicate that patchy sea fog was near
the Savannah River Entrance, extending north into coastal Beaufort
County and likely occurring to the south of Tybee Island along
the Georgia coast.

Visibility in the fog will be 1 nm or less at times. Locally dense
fog is possible and if the coverage of the fog becomes widespread
enough, a Dense Fog Advisory would be required.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners are urged to navigate with extreme care. If you must
navigate in these conditions, proceed with caution. Use proper
fog signals, including fog horns. Make sure all navigational
running lights are on.

Please relay any reports of sea fog to the Charleston or Tybee
Island Coast Guard stations and ask them to immediately forward
your report to the National Weather Service in Charleston.
