...PATCHY DENSE FOG TO IMPACT THE CHARLESTON HARBOR AND NEARBY
ATLANTIC WATERS OF SOUTHERN SOUTH CAROLINA AND SOUTHEAST GEORGIA
THIS MORNING...

PATCHY DENSE FOG FROM OVER LAND THAT DEVELOPED ONCE SKIES STARTED
TO CLEAR AFTER THE RAIN LAST NIGHT WILL PUSH INTO THE NEARBY
ATLANTIC WATERS AND CHARLESTON HARBOR THIS MORNING AS WINDS SHIFT
TO THE WEST.

VISIBILITY IN THE FOG WILL BE UNDER 1 NM AT TIMES...EVEN DOWN NEAR
1/2 NM AT TIMES. IF THE COVERAGE OF THE DENSE FOG INCREASES ENOUGH
A DENSE FOG ADVISORY WOULD BE REQUIRED.

AS WINDS INCREASE LATE THIS MORNING AND THIS AFTERNOON THE RISK
FOR FOG WILL COME TO AN END.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS ARE URGED TO NAVIGATE WITH EXTREME CARE. IF YOU MUST
NAVIGATE IN THESE CONDITIONS...PROCEED WITH CAUTION. USE PROPER
FOG SIGNALS...INCLUDING FOG HORNS. MAKE SURE ALL NAVIGATIONAL
RUNNING LIGHTS ARE ON.

PLEASE RELAY ANY REPORTS OF FOG TO THE CHARLESTON OR TYBEE ISLAND
COAST GUARD STATIONS AND ASK THEM TO IMMEDIATELY FORWARD YOUR
REPORT TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CHARLESTON.
