...LOCALLY DENSE FOG POSSIBLE THIS MORNING...

PATCHY FOG IS EXPECTED THIS MORNING ACROSS THE NEARSHORE WATERS AS
FOG FROM ADJACENT LAND AREAS MOVES OUT INTO THE MARINE AREA. THE
FOG COULD BECOME LOCALLY DENSE AND VISIBILITIES OF 1 NAUTICAL MILE
OR LESS CAN BE EXPECTED AT TIMES. FOG SHOULD DISSIPATE AND
CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO IMPROVE BY MID MORNING. THE BULK OF THE
FOG WILL BE WITHIN ROUGHLY 5 MILES OF SHORE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS ARE URGED TO NAVIGATE WITH EXTREME CARE. IF YOU MUST
NAVIGATE IN THESE CONDITIONS...PROCEED WITH CAUTION. USE PROPER
FOG SIGNALS...INCLUDING FOG HORNS. MAKE SURE ALL NAVIGATIONAL
RUNNING LIGHTS ARE ON.

PLEASE RELAY ANY REPORTS OF FOG TO THE CHARLESTON OR TYBEE ISLAND
COAST GUARD STATIONS AND ASK THEM TO IMMEDIATELY FORWARD YOUR
REPORT TO THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CHARLESTON.
