...A PERIOD OF LIGHT SNOW POSSIBLE LATER THIS MORNING INTO EARLY
AFTERNOON....

Bands of light rain will move across the region today. The rain
could change to a period of light snow later this morning across
far interior areas of Southeast Georgia as well as Allendale and
Hampton Counties in Southeast South Carolina as cold air moves
into the region behind a strong cold front. Minor accumulations of
snow will be possible, mainly on grassy areas before precipitation
ends by early afternoon. The risk for minor snow accumulations
will be the greatest roughly along and north of a line from
Metter, Georgia, to Hampton, South Carolina, including the
communities of Millen, Sylvania, Hilltonia and Allendale.

Significant travel problems are not expected. However, motorists
should remain alert for possible slick spots, especially on
bridges and overpasses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Stay tuned to NOAA Weather Radio All Hazards, TV or your local
