...DENSE SEA FOG TO IMPACT BEACH COMMUNITIES THROUGH SUNSET...

Dense sea fog will continue to move onshore across portions of the
lower South Carolina coast as well as Chatham County, Georgia,
through sunset. Some beach communities that will be impacted
include Tybee Island, Hilton Head, Hunting Island, Fripp Island,
Kiawah, Folly Beach, Isle of Palms and possibly as far north as
Mcclellanville. Visibilities in the fog will drop to 1/4 mile or
less and possibly near zero at times.

Mariner`s navigating portions of the Intracoastal Waterway,
including Charleston Harbor, should also be prepared for dense
sea fog and reduced visibilities.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If driving, slow down and leave extra distance ahead of you in
case a sudden stop is needed.

For mariners in the Intracoastal, navigate with extreme care. If
you must navigate in these conditions, proceed with caution. Use
proper fog signals, including fog horns. Make sure all
navigational running lights are on.
