...A LINE OF STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS IS APPROACHING SOUTHERN
SOUTH CAROLINA AND SOUTHEAST GEORGIA...

As of 1045 PM, a line of strong to severe thunderstorms was
located across the Midlands east across central Georgia. These
storms will push east around 45 mph. This line of storms has a
history of producing large hail, damaging wind gusts, heavy
downpours, and frequent cloud to ground lightning. These storms
are expected to reach Jenkins east to Berkeley Counties between
midnight and 1 AM. As the storms approach the region they will
need to be watched closely for damaging wind gusts, possibly
exceeding 60 mph. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch will remain in
effect for the region until 2 AM.
