...DENSE FOG DEVELOPING ACROSS FAR INTERIOR SOUTHEAST GEORGIA...

Surface observations and webcams out of the Statesboro and Claxton
areas indicate areas of fog are beginning to develop late this
evening. The fog is becoming locally dense with visibilities of
one-quarter mile or less at times. Conditions favor the fog
becoming more widespread through the night and significant dense
fog is possible. A Dense Fog Advisory may be needed later tonight.

The nature of the fog is such that visibilities will vary greatly
over short distances, especially near low lying area such as
rivers, large ditches, creeks and swamps. Motorists should remain
alert for rapidly changing conditions.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If driving, slow down and leave extra distance ahead of you in
case a sudden stop is needed.
