..DENSE SEA FOG TO IMPACT MANY COASTAL AREAS EARLY TONIGHT...

Dense sea fog will continue to move onshore across much of the
lower South Carolina coast as well as Chatham County, Georgia
through at least early tonight.

The most likely areas to be affected will be near and east of
Route 17. Some communities that will be impacted include Tybee
Island, Hilton Head, Hunting Island, Fripp Island, Edisto, Kiawah,
Folly Beach, Johns Island, Sullivan`s Island, Isle of Palms and
possibly as far north as Mcclellanville. Visibilities in the fog
will drop to 1/4 mile or less and possibly near zero at times.

If the coverage of the fog increases enough a Dense Fog Advisory
will be required.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If driving...slow down and leave extra distance ahead of you in
case a sudden stop is needed.
