A GALE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO
10 AM EST THURSDAY. A LOW WATER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM
9 PM THIS EVENING TO NOON EST THURSDAY.

* WINDS AND WAVES: SOUTHWEST GALES OF 35 TO 40 KNOTS WITH HIGHER
  GUSTS WILL DEVELOP STARTING LATE THIS AFTERNOON OR EVENING AND
  THEN DECREASE THURSDAY MORNING. WAVES WILL BUILD TO 6 TO 9 BY
  LATE TONIGHT AND THEN START DECREASING ON THURSDAY.

* LOW WATER: AS THE GALE FORCE WINDS DEVELOP THE WATER LEVEL WILL
  START DROPPING ON WESTERN LAKE ERIE THIS EVENING. THE WATER
  LEVEL WILL DROP TO NEARLY 3 FEET BELOW LOW WATER DATUM BY
  THURSDAY MORNING AND THEN RISE THROUGH THE DAY ON THURSDAY.
  WATER LEVEL SHOULD BE BACK ABOVE THE CRITICAL LEVEL FOR SAFE NAVIGATION
  ON THURSDAY AFTERNOON.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MARINERS SHOULD MONITOR THE FORECAST AND PREPARE TO TAKE
APPROPRIATE ACTIONS OR CONSIDER ALTERING THEIR PLANS.

A GALE WARNING MEANS WINDS OF 34 TO 47 KNOTS ARE IMMINENT OR
OCCURRING. OPERATING A VESSEL IN GALE CONDITIONS REQUIRES
EXPERIENCE AND PROPER EQUIPMENT. MARINERS WITHOUT THE PROPER
EXPERIENCE SHOULD SEEK SAFE HARBOR PRIOR TO THE ONSET OF GALE
CONDITIONS.

A LOW WATER ADVISORY MEANS WATER LEVELS ARE EXPECTED TO BE BELOW
THE CRITICAL MARK FOR SAFE NAVIGATION. VESSELS MAY BOTTOM OUT OR
BECOME GROUNDED. CONTACT THE COAST GUARD FOR THE LATEST WATER
LEVEL. MARINERS SHOULD USE EXTREME CAUTION OR CONSIDER WAITING
UNTIL WATER LEVELS RISE.
