...HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT TONIGHT CHEYENNE
AREA NORTH TO SOUTH OF WHEATLAND...

.High winds in the wake of a strong cold front will continue this
evening diminishing towards late evening. Wind gusts from the west
and northwest to near 60 mph along sections of Interstate 25 from
the Colorado border north to just south of Wheatland and along
Interstate 80 around the Cheyenne area will pose a significant
hazard to those driving high profile vehicles or those pulling
trailers. Winds this strong could result in the loss of control of
the vehicle.

The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a High Wind
Warning, which is in effect until midnight MDT tonight.

* TIMING...Now until midnight tonight.

* WINDS...50 to 60 mph from the northwest.

* IMPACTS...Sudden wind gusts from the northwest could result in
  the loss of control of high profile vehicles or lighter weight
  trailers.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A High Wind Warning means a hazardous high wind event is expected
or occurring. Sustained wind speeds of at least 40 mph or gusts
of 58 mph or more can lead to property damage.
