THROUGH TONIGHT...

.STRONG WEST WINDS WILL OCCUR OVER WIND PRONE LOCATIONS IN
SOUTHEAST WYOMING TODAY. SUSTAINED WINDS OF 35 TO 45 MPH WITH
GUSTS OF 55 TO 65 MPH WILL OCCUR ACROSS AREAS SUCH THE SOUTHERN
LARAMIE RANGE...THE NORTHERN SNOWY RANGE FOOTHILLS AND NEAR
BORDEAUX. THE STRONGEST WINDS AREA EXPECTED LATE THIS MORNING
THROUGH LATE AFTERNOON WITH WINDS SLOWLY SUBSIDING THIS EVENING
INTO THE OVERNIGHT.

  MPH. RECENT OBSERVED WIND GUSTS OF 73 MPH SOUTH OF WHEATLAND.

* IMPACTS...MAINLY TO HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES AND LIGHT WEIGHT
  TRAILERS AS SUDDEN STRONG GUSTS WILL POSE A BLOW OVER RISK.
  THIS INCLUDES A PORTION OF INTERSTATE 80 BETWEEN LARAMIE AND
  RAWLINS IN SOUTHEAST WYOMING.

* IMPACTS...THERE IS A SIGNIFICANT BLOW OVER RISK FOR HIGH PROFILE
  VEHICLES TRAVELING ALONG INTERSTATE 80 BETWEEN LARAMIE AND
  CHEYENNE AND INTERSTATE 25 BETWEEN CHUGWATER AND WHEATLAND
  BECAUSE OF STRONG WINDS. DRIVERS OF SUCH VEHICLES SHOULD NOT
  TRAVEL THIS STRETCH OF ROAD.
