URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE CHEYENNE WY
227 AM MDT TUE OCT 14 2014

...HIGH WINDS EXPECTED IN THE ARLINGTON AREA FROM WEDNESDAY
AFTERNOON THROUGH EARLY THURSDAY MORNING...

.AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE IS FORECAST TO MOVE EAST ACROSS NORTHERN
WYOMING ON WEDNESDAY. HIGH PRESSURE OVER WESTERN COLORADO WILL
GIVE WAY TO A STRONG SURFACE PRESSURE GRADIENT ACROSS MUCH OF THE
AREA. THIS COMBINED WITH STRENGTHENING WINDS ALOFT WILL PRODUCE
THE POTENTIAL FOR HIGH WINDS ALONG INTERSTATE 80 BETWEEN LARAMIE
AND RAWLINS BY WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON. WIND GUSTS OF UP TO 60 MPH
WILL BE POSSIBLE. THE WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN STRONG THROUGH
EARLY THURSDAY BEFORE DIMINISHING.
