...STRONG WINDS ALONG INTERSTATE 80 NEAR ARLINGTON THIS EVENING...

Those traveling Interstate 80 between mile markers 287 to 240 can
expect southwest winds of 35 to 40 mph sustained with gusts to 55
mph through 10 PM this evening. Latest reports from WYDOT weather
sensors are reporting strong winds at Halleck Ridge and Elk
Mountain this evening with gusts near 60 mph. These winds are
forecast to slowly ease as the evening progresses. For the next
few hours, wind gusts will be strong enough to create an increased
blowoff and blowover risk for high profile and light weight
vehicles. High profile and Light Weight Vehicle restrictions are
in effect for this area by WYDOT this evening.
